The Nadeau 7-Way Cart ® was developed as a result of a back injury. History
of the developer:
As a professional field sales
rep, I spent over 10 years lifting items in and out of an SUV until a back
injury occurred preventing me from doing the things I loved to do such
as jogging, playing tennis, and dancing. I used a commercially
available cart which had a moving part that broke, resulting in a back
injury, so I was sure to make this product user friendly but with a simple
design, eliminating moving parts where possible. I
designed a cart that would help make my job easier, but when people started to
inquire where I bought it, that they wanted one,I knew I was on to
something. My brothers helped create the model I was initially using (now a
museum display : ). After utilizing my professional sales and marketing
skills coupled with knowledge obtained working for a respected Fortune 200
company, I put these skills to work. I learned a tremendous amount in a
whole new field, all in the evening while keeping a full time
position. Being involed in every aspect of this cart creation nurturing it
from the start, I jokingly refer to it as 'my baby'!
In all
seriousness, it's been well thought out with great care and dedication to you,
the consumer, all to help you and others avoid injury where possible so you
can continue to do what you love too! From developing a business
plan, market research, measuring over 100 vehicle's cargo areas and store
aisle spaces, sales, writing up the draft patent before submitting to an
attorney for final editing and approval, from filing for TradeMarks, to
web development, to engineering involvement, from learning about material and
temperature impacts and steel molds, right down to packaging and assembling
the first 500 carts getting down and dirty in the
warehouse.
After my injury I spent months being treated
by a Chiropracter which greatly improved my condition. Being grateful to the
Chiropractic industry I turned to the ACA (American Chiropractic
Association) who evaluated the cart and it's beneficial impact on the
body and patients. Proudly, well respected top Chiropracters in the field
evaluated the product giving it 2 thumbs up!
This product was
proudly tested by Intertek Testing Services. It also has been recommended
by insurance agents, physical therapist's, occupational therapist's, safety
& health officers; and ergonomic
managers.
I also previously worked in a microbiology lab and
sold medical related products so I am also well aware of the spread of
germs and bacteria by touching public shopping carts (the 3rd highest
contaminated public product). The 7-Way Cart(R) product is great
to use as your own personal shopping cart, especially with all of these newer
viruses/bugs popping up!
The product was gratefully developed with a
professional team of engineers, designers and tool makers, each having over 30
years of experience and highly respected in the industry.
We
believe we re-invented the cart for today's active lifestyles and gave it a
personal touch. This item will not take away back pain or prevent the
transmittance of bacteria, but we think it will help make transferring your load
much easier, save time getting the load in & out of the vehicle, provide a
huge sense of convenience and save money on purchasing various products
separately and on doctor related visits. The list of uses is incredible:
Tailgate party accessory, poolside/entertainment cart, office, delivery use,
kitchen cart, etc. Giving it a 'Sharp, Sleek' professional look to be used
at home or office was important as well.
As with any product
always read the instructions and use caution and common sense when operating.
This product is 7 products on one! Convertible, convenient, collapsible and
adjustable. It is not to be treated like a 'regular standard 4 wheeled
utility cart' because it is not! It is also not a toy and should not be left
near unattended children or to be used by children or anyone who has not read
and fully understands the concept and how to use the
product(s).
